North South University (NSU) is the first private university of Bangladesh. It fundamentally changed the higher education landscape in the country by introducing American-style broad-based undergraduate programs that followed the semester calendar and credit hour system. Founded by renowned industrialists of the country, the university began its journey with the first classes offered in 1993. Currently, 17,000+ students are enrolled in various undergraduate and graduate programs offered by four schools: School of Business and Economics, School of Health and Life Sciences, School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences.
