Golden Telecom, Inc. (GTI) is a facilities-based provider of integrated telecommunication and Internet services throughout Russia and other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). In December 2007, GTI acquired New Telecom Technologies. In March 2008, Vimpel-Communications, through its subsidiary, VimpelCom Finance B.V., completed the acquisition of GTI.
