Dr. Story has worked in various hospital and clinic environments over the past fifteen years, and has found that modern day healthcare is often rushed and is often unable to give the time and attention that patients need. That's why we choose Direct Primary Care, because great care takes time! Dr. Story is a highly trained, Board-Certified family physician. He has provided medical care for 15 years in many settings, including the ER, hospital, hospice, and nursing homes. His broad experience and skills can provide for most of your medical needs, including office procedures and advanced testing. In 2017 Dr. Story received the Physician Excellence Award from Pullman Regional Hospital. Our Nurse Practitioner, Lisa Halpert, recently moved to the area from Texas with her husband and two daughters. Lisa has worked primarily in internal medicine and urgent care. We are so happy to have her join our clinic, especially to be able to provide well-women exams. Lisa is upbeat, loves a good cup of coffee, and is ready to lend a careful and skilled listening ear to our patients. She will be in clinic two days a week, working with Dr. Story to extend our availability and care.
