Southeast Iowa Regional Planning Commission (SEIRPC) is one of 17 Councils of Governments in Iowa, serving Des Moines, Henry, Lee, and Louisa counties. SEIRPC operates public programs and provides consultative services to its region. Public programs include: Regional public transportation SEIBUS, Revolving Loan Funds for business startup and expansion, Housing Trust Fund for affordable housing investment, and Regional Transportation Planning. Consultative services include traditional planning for local governments, grant writing and administration, mapping, research, project management, and economic development support. SEIRPC also develops affordable, single-family infill housing through its affiliated non-profit Southeast Iowa Housing, Inc.
