The USTO-MB shared many characteristics of universities around the world. It is one of the largest institutions for training and technological research in Algeria. The administration and the faculties support the proper functioning of the University and contribute to its development and success both on national and international level. The USTO-MB provides a license-type training system, Master and PhD (LMD) in accordance with the Bologna process which was adopted by our establishment in 2004. The University has seven faculties, namely: Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science, Natural Sciences and Life (Biology and Biotechnology), Architecture and Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Institute of Sport. The USTO-MB has modern and suitably equipped premises, equipment and means of communication (internet, WebEls platform for video conferencing). The MB-USTO also continues to work to improve the quality of life of its staff and students in developing and inverting in the construction of new buildings and other facilities. Externally, USTO-MB has signed several framework agreements, memoranda of understanding, agreements with business partners and national institutions but also with about 40 universities around the world. Finally, USTO is a partner in several international projects with France (Tassili, CNRS, etc.), Spain (PIC programs programs), Japan (Sahara Solar Breeder solar energy), Capacity programs Building type Tempus ( "Signs" for the implementation of a digital information system for higher education institutions Algerians), Erasmus Mundus mobility of European programs (Al Idrisi 1 and 2, Mare Nostrum), and other networks Euro -méditerranéens (AUF, Averroes, Unimed, JaNAUS between Japanese universities and North African).
