We were incorporated as a rural municipality on December 9, 1912, and our area covers approximately 131 square miles. Our municipality includes Emerald Park and over 20 other subdivisions and business areas. The RM also neighbors include six First Nations and six other RMs. It's governed by an elected municipal council serving seven divisions and an appointed Chief Operations Officer who meets every month on the second and fourth Tuesday. The reeve of the RM is Mitchell Huber, while the COO is Sameh Nashed. The RM's office is located in Emerald Park on 100 Hutchence Road Emerald Park, Saskatchewan S4L 1C6, 15 km east of Regina on Highway 1. In addition, the Regina International Airport borders the RM, furthering ease of access to transportation for the commercial and industrial business sector. Because of our ideal location, the RM of Edenwold is a prime place to conduct business both domestically and abroad. Our industrial park is steadily growing, and we still have a few lots for new developers and businesses. Our Industrial Park is a vibrant, growing industrial park that includes agricultural equipment manufacturers such as Mazer group, Seed master, South Country, Nicks Service, Raven Technologies, Dairyland, and Canada west Harvest. In addition, our Industrial park is home to agricultural dealerships, construction contractors, trucking firms, hardware stores, Hospitality, and recreational centers. The RM of Edenwold looks to encourage development in many different areas, including industrial, commercial, and residential.
