Tchin-Lait is a private company under Algerian law, founded by Mr. Fawzi BERKATI in 1999. Located on the former site of Tchin-Tchin Company, originally a family business located at the entrance of the city of Bejaia. Tchin Lait has been producing and marketing long-life UHT (Ultra High Temperature) milk under the Candia label since May 2001. In 2015, Générale Laitière Jugurta opened, the second production site which is headquartered in Baraki (Algiers). In November 2017, the two companies, Tchin-Lait and Générale Laitière Jugurta (GLJ) merged into a joint stock company, "SPA Tchin-Lait"​. Our group is dedicated to the production and marketing of, firstly, U.H.T long-life milk and, subsequently the derivative products such as; flavored milks, yoghurt drinks and fruit juices ... Our main objective is to diversify our production while constantly improving the quality of our products, to best satisfy our customers throughout the national territory.
