Inter Medya was founded in 1992 as a company that distributes American feature films to Turkish TV channels. In 1999, the company started distributing Turkish content at the international expanded its operation to Central and Eastern European countries including theatrical distribution in Romania and Bulgaria. In 2008, Inter Medya signed its first worldwide distribution agreements with some of Turkey's most successful production houses including Avsar Film and TMC. In the later years, the company expanded its catalog becoming exclusive worldwide representative of FOX and making exclusive agreements with Ay Yapim. In 2015, Inter Medya built an internal creative team to develop and present game shows, reality TV and adventure formats at the global market. The company produced its first format ‘Fifty Fifty' created by its team for ATV and also signed a distribution agreement with Secuoya Group for its formats. Consequentially, the company signed an extensive worldwide deal with Netflix for four of its long ongoing series. After signing distribution agreements with Acun Medya and TIMS&B Productions, Inter Medya produced new episodes of legendary series Behzat Ç., and filmed the series ‘RESPECT' and ‘RESPECT 2' to be stream on BluTV. In 2021, the company established Inter Yapım to produce and develop its contents and launched a new product line; ‘New Generation Turkish Series'. During this year, Inter Medya produced the dating reality format, El Poder del Amor Latin America, bringing together 11 countries of Latin America in the same program and breaking a new ground. The company's catalog expands to 12,000 hours of scripted content, over 400 films, more than 10 mini-series and 10 scripted series to be developed. On its 30th anniversary, it's Inter Meyda's pleasure to announce that the company will be expanding its business with a newly designed office to create an improved working space for their growing number of employees.
