Opened in 1992, the 5-star Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club Resort is a cluster of impressive Victorian-style buildings, providing 130 Deluxe Rooms, Studio Suites and Cottages with a capacity of 248 beds. For the nature lover there are organized ornithological walks with the Resident Ornithologist including coffee farm visits on our own Mika Coffee Estate.  For the energetic and health conscious individual, there is a jogging track that trails through the Golf Course is under a canopy of beautiful indigenous trees, the resident Syke's monkeys and clean countryside air. The Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club is just a 15-minute drive from the center of Nairobi city and a 45 minute drive from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.  The hotel provides airport transfers to and from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at US$45 for a saloon car, US$ 65 for a 9 seater van and US$100 for a 25 seater mini bus. These rates are one way. The Club is less than two degrees south of the equator, at an altitude of 5800 feet giving the feeling of an everlasting spring evening all year round.  Nairobi takes its time from the 45th longitude.
