The Brothers of the Christian Schools is the largest religious order of men in the Catholic Church dedicated to the mission of education to the young, especially the poor, as envisioned by the Institute's founder, John Baptist de La Salle, Patron Saint of Teachers. As an administrative office, the District of Eastern North America animates and supports the Catholic Lasallian Educational mission in over 35 elementary, middle, and high schools, institutions of higher education, and youth and family welfare agencies from Warren, MI to Providence, RI, Toronto, Canada to Washington, DC, and Boca Raton, FL. 250 De La Salle Christian Brothers, together and by association with more than 5,000 Partners-in-Mission, provide a human and Christian education to more than 15,000 young people entrusted to our care.
