In 1996, HATCO expanded its business domain to the field of wireless communications and system engineering. In order to cope with the demands of the 21st century and to insure the continuity of the establishment, in 2005 it was converted into a company with limited liability and by that the name became Al-Hashemiah Contracting Company (HATCO). In 2006 HATCO opened a branch in Doha in order to take advantage of the lack of turnkey Telecommunication infrastructure civil contractors in Qatar.
